Environmental Impact Assessment

At Himly we ensure that environmental improvement is at the heart of the work we do for our clients.

An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is an audit process that identifies the effects that a development could have con the environment. A new system is expected to come into place in the near future – the Environmental Outcomes Report (EOR), which is planned to be equivalent in essence to the EIA.

We advise our clients on the appropriate time to present a screening request – and will work with the relevant authority and our clients to gather sufficient evidence to determine whether an EIA is required for the scheme or not. Our EIA scoping and assessment reports are focus on the likely significant effects.

If you already provide EIA Coordination services or have an EIA coordinator on board in your team, we will be happy to assist on the relevant technical environmental aspects associated with specialist disciplines that Himly can offer.
